Project Overview
A four-month renovation of Union Bank Bhavan in Vadodara, combining civil, interior, and furniture work in a single award. Renovating a functioning bank building is materially harder than building a new one: the branch continues to serve customers and house staff throughout, so work is phased zone by zone, the noisiest operations are scheduled outside banking hours, and public circulation and security have to remain intact at every stage. A combined civil, interior, and furniture scope also means the sequencing is entirely internal to one contractor — structural and finishing work has to clear the way for furniture installation without a handover gap. Completing all three disciplines in four months, inside a live branch, is a compressed programme.
