Project Overview
Infrastructure and civil works for a data centre building in Gandhinagar, supporting the Council’s technology backbone from the state capital. A data centre is one of the most demanding civil building types in the portfolio: the structure has to carry concentrated equipment floor loading well beyond ordinary office standards, accommodate the routing of dense power and cooling services, and provide the environmental sealing and controlled access that server infrastructure requires. Civil work for a facility of this kind is inseparable from the mechanical and electrical design it has to receive, so the build has to be coordinated closely with the technology fit-out that follows. Delivered in roughly five and a half months, this contract is a useful counterweight to the more conventional office and institutional work in the record — a technically specialised building type for a state government client.
